I really don't see what the big deal is. there really isnt much of a "runner" on the heads (NA/TT) anyway. It's only about an 1" to 1.5" before you hit the valve seats. Besides, you go from a 2.0"+ intake tract to damn near nothing in the lower plenum / head. The cross sectional area of the intake port on a TT head is only 1.9865 in sq. I think dude is just venting more then anything else.
